I have a childrens nursing diploma from Switzerland and I have worked with infants to 16 year old children with or without disabilities for the past 30 years. I am also currently working as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor for my own business. I am an excellent caregiver and kids and parents love me alike. Caregiving, Early Childhood Education, and Teaching Over 8 years’ experience in Ottawa, Ontario working as a Program Assistant (PA) with physically challenged and autistic children (ages 3-6). I have also worked occasionally as a supply teacher with preschool children (ages 2-5). Cross-country ski instructor- elementary school children Cypress Mountain, BC, for 2 winter seasons for children aged 8-12. Daycare worker in Calgary, Alberta, cared primarily for infants and occasionally other children up to age 5. Practicum for nursing diploma included 26 weeks caring for severely mentally and physically challenged children aged 0-12 years, 22 weeks in preschool, and 44 weeks maternity ward and delivery room. Practicum included relief support in other hospital areas including geriatrics, and general ward duties. I worked a variety of day and night shifts. Raising two boys of my own, currently age 17 and 19.
