Hello there! My name is Hannah :) My style of caregiving is energetic, fun, compassionate, creative, extremely patient, and positive. Regarding nannying; I believe in gentle parenting, but I am happy to hear about and apply whatever parenting style suits your family in your home. If you want to know a little more about me: I have two younger siblings that I have taken care of most of my life due to a large age difference. For many of those years I have also lived with (someone I consider a sister of mine) a deaf supported roommate who has cerebral palsy and autism; Which is how I came to learn ASL and delved into the world of respite care for those with disabilities. I have always taken care of those three; as well as other children in my family, my friends children, the neighborhood kids, etc and always loved it. Hence why I came into babysitting and then working as a nanny. As you can see, caregiving has always been a big part of my life and means quite a lot to me. (If you would like to have references from my previous nannying, and/or respite care feel free to ask.) Some other little fun tidbits about me to know is that I am 25 years old, an artist, a huge nerd, and I've been to Machu Picchu! Work Experience: I have been employed by families for respite care, and nannying for 10 years now. I have mostly been employed privately through this website, and with Calgary Alternative Support Services. One of my first jobs at the age of 14 was a caregiving job, and since then I have always worked at least one part time job in either health, nannying, and/or caregiving because I love it so much!
