Hello. My name is Michelle and I am 23 years old. I have just completed my BA in Psychology with a Criminology minor. I have a passion for psychology and working with those less fortunate. I have been employed at a youth worker for 1. 5 years and have been mentoring young offenders for 3. 5 years. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, watching movies, and reading. I am hoping to one day continue my schooling in Social Work but at the present time, am looking to gain more experience. I love spending time with my nieces and nephews when I get the chance, as family is important to me. I am a very outgoing person, and have a strong sense of who I am. I also lead an active lifestyle, as I love to run, and workout in the gym, and am hoping to get involved in kickboxing once again. During the summer I love to spend all of my spare time outside, soaking up the sun.

I started babysitting when I was about 12 years old. I also grew up with 2 younger brothers whom I cared for often. During high school, I volunteered at my church and would run Sunday School for 3-5 year olds each Sunday. This would involve planning a lesson, preparing the supplies, and then facilitating the lesson to the children present. On average, I was supervising 5-10 children. I also have my Child Development Assistant Certificate (Level One).

I am currently completing my BA in Psychology with a Criminology Minor. I have also obtained my Childhood Development Assistant Certificate (Level One) through my Psychology courses. I am also able to provide current First Aid and CPR training.
