I am 20 years old, I have 2 younger brothers one is 75 and the other is 14. I have two loving parents that both work from home. My family is very important to me, we are very close and we work really hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I am currently studying at Capilano University, taking my pre requisites for Nursing programs throughout BC. My current job is with Home Instead Senior Care, I am a caregiver that works with clients with Dementia and Alzheimer's. I have been with Home Instead Senior Care for 2 years now. Being a caregiver I have performed duties such as housekeeping, meal preparation, driving clients to appointments and personal care. I have had three jobs prior to this; I was a host at Cactus Club Café at Park Royal, I worked at TCBY Frozen Yogurt and I was a coach for WVSC Fun in the Sun soccer camp. I have spent plenty of time with children through soccer and babysitting. I have worked with children ages 2-12; my duties as a soccer coach were to teach children the fundamentals of soccer as well as be a role model. As a babysitter I make meals for children, get them ready for bed and supervised them throughout the day. I have also done overnight shifts; make sure homework is done, get kids bathed, put them to bed, wake up for school, prepare lunches and bring them to school. I enjoy travelling, cooking, spending time outdoors, spending time with my family, interacting with other and helping those in need. I made a trip to Australia with one of my brothers recently to visit our cousin’s, it was an experience of a lifetime. On our journey back we had a few stops that consisted of Fiji, Honolulu and Los Angeles, I experienced the different cultures at the same time was responsible for my brother and I’s safety. I have my own transportation; I am reliable and very flexible.

I have been a babysitter since I was 14. I started off babysitting my brothers and neighbour’s, I then started coaching soccer and had parents approach me about babysitting their children. I have been babysitting for one family for over 3 year, and have babysat for other families that needed me every once in a while. As a soccer coach, I ensured children’s safety and took care of a group of 10 kids ranging from the ages of 3-12 for 2-4 hours.

I graduated from Senitnel Secondary School in June 2014, I then moved to Kelowna to attend University of British Colombia Okanagan where I spent my first year. I am currently at Capilano University to take the pre-requisites for Nursing programs across BC My goal is to be enrolled in the Nurisng program by September 2017.
