I am a mother of 2 grown daughters, living in Kikland/Beaconsfield at the present but have lived in Kirkland for almost 30 years. I have a great deal of experience with children especially young babies have been looking after them as young as 4 days old. I have taken care of little girl from age of 4 months to 2 years until she started to go to daycare.. Providing meals and feeding for her as well as napping, playtime and help learning to walk and talk and have provided assistance for the mother of the house including but not limited to support for daily chores around the house as well as accompanying on doctors appts etc. I have been a support system for a young mother who had a 17 month old boy and was expecting her second child but was on bed rest so I basically took over most of the daily routine with her son and offered support for the mother with whatever she needed this was during a period of about 4-6 months until she delivered her second child. While working with agencies there were numerous occasions that I took care of newborn babies as well as older babies sometimes while the parents were on vacation and another older family member was staying with the children on a full time basis and needed some support for several hours a day and sometimes including the overnite.
