Dear Families, Hi., I am Hilda who grow up in the northern part of the Philippines surrounded by great mountain views and a fine weather, loves to walk and explore the beauty of nature, Listening to country and gospel songs would make me sing. and be updated to current events of the day on watching news and reading local newspapers. I have a younger sister who is married and have children whom I love and adore, and support them go to school. My dad who sacrificed hard to raise us up, as my mom passed away early, giving us the support so we can finished college and live a decent life. Life has been hard but with lots of hope and blessings is able to cope. I work as a domestic helper in Macau, China for almost 9 years prior to coming to Canada in 2012. Working in macau with a good family, looking after 2 boys, they were 2 yrs. old and 9 mo. when I started with them, playing toys, bathing them, changing diapers, potty train, cooking and feeding them, prepare them to school, bringing them and picking them up from school; aside from household chores while children are at school. Here in Canada I am looking after a 4 year old girl, I have to leave them because the mother is lay off from work. Children are fun to be with as you teach train them I am learning too. I believe that a great firm foundation which was taught to them will be a part in shaping their choices and future, and being a part of that growth as a child makes me happy..

In Macau, China I look after a 6 year old girl for a year, wake and dress her up in the morning, prepare breakfast, bring and pick her up from school, prepare snacks, look after her while she is doing her homework, bath her before dinner. My second domestic helper job was a live-out job from 9 am to 9 pm, to look after 2 boys, they where then 2 years old and 9 months old, prepare breakfast, dress them up, bring and pick them up from school, prepare snack after school, bath them. Play with them; puzzles, lego, teach them letters and numbers. As they where growing up help them interact with others, bring them to and pick them up after each curricular activities;swimming, basketball, piano lesson, kumon class(english and math tutoring). While kids are at school clean the house prepare food, cook, ironing clothes, tidy up toys, and vacuum. When parents are away I need to stay overnight and look after them. When the children are younger I used to travel on trip with the family. I staryed with the family for 8 years. Here in Canada I look after a 4 year old girl now, she was then 1 year 3 month while parents works 12 hours. prepare food for the child, bath, change diaper, potty train, read and accompany the child to different community activities;library, strong starts, play time with other kids, train the child by parents instruction. dress and help child from activities.

Was able to finished a Bachelors degree in the Philippines.
