I am a person who has been around kids practically my whole life, and I love being around them. My mother has ran her own private daycare in her home since I was 5, and throughout the years I have aided her, from helping to watch kids, etc., along with my two younger siblings. I also have been qualified to babysit myself, since the age of 12, after completing the Babysitting course. I have watched numerous amounts of children throughout the years, including some with special needs and have not had one negative experience. I have had 6 years experience caring for children ages ranging from 2 months - 11 years old. As well, I am employed with the City of Ottawa as a Program Recreational Leader, or in other words, a counsellor. With a job with the City of Ottawa, there is a massive amount of training in which I have obtained in order to be a great candidate to watch children, including First Aid and High Five (nationally recognized) training. I am currently enrolled at Carleton University, and starting my first year in the fall, studying in the Law program. My hobbies include sports, reading and cooking.
