Hello my name is Vanessa, I am 19 years old, and I am currently in my second year at Camosun College. I am a fun, creative, and outgoing person and hope to become an Elementary School Teacher in the future. I have a lot of experience with children as I started babysitting at age 12, and have continued to work and volunteer with children. I have taught a beginners ballet class to 5-7 year olds, volunteered at multiple local elementary school dances and fairs, volunteered for reading buddies at the public library, and worked during the summer at summer camps. I am certified in Emergency First Aid & CPR C certificate, have my Food Safe certificate, and have completed 20 hours of child related training of which includes; child development, guidance, health and safety, and nutrition. I believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and can thrive.
