- Mother of 2 children, had high-risk pregnancies (20 years ago: 1st child was premature 5 weeks). - Learned to care for premature baby with jaundice (approx. 6 weeks of jaundice). - Second child had severe food allergies (cow protein, soy, any and all milk products, beef, veal, etc. ). - Both had childhood asthma (attended training by nurses & respiratory therapists, to correctly treat asthma in children). - Required regular blood tests to monitor allergies (evenually lessened, now cleared up). - Volunteer reader for kindergarten and Grade 1 children, as per teacher's book selection. - My partner has 2 grandsons (6 and 9 yrs. ); they occasionally visit and sleep over for several days. I keep them busy with activities.
