Hey families, my name is Katherine but I usually go by Kat. I am currently 20 years old and just completed a year of university. I am currently looking for a part time nanny job (25-30 hours or 3-3. 5 days a week) from mid-may to september. I have lots of experience with children, from being a camp counsellor at Keats Camps for five years, working a full time nanny job with kids aged 6 months to 11 years old, volunteering at North Vancouver outdoor school, joining with a non-profit in Hawaii working with children at risk, and supervising children at a drop in centre. I enjoy a lot of activities outside such as hiking, skiing, surfing, soccer, biking, and swimming. I also like to create things, paint, bake, and read. I am soft spoken, responsible, fun, adventurous, easy going and of course love working with kids.

I have found a passion for working with kids and have years of experience. I have been a nanny for kids that are 6 months old to 11 years old. The past five summers I have spent my time volunteering and working at Keats Camps. There I supervised kids of all ages, leading games and activities, daily adventures, supervising meals, as well as being an overnight camp counsellor responsible for the well being of 12-14 girls. I also have counselled at Outdoor School, supervising kids ages 7 to 12, running educational activities, daily adventures, supervising meal times and supervising overnight. During my gap year I moved to Hawaii for four months to volunteer with a non-profit working with youth and children at risk, during my internship we took kids to the beach or park, had tutoring sessions twice a week, and loved on them as much as we could. I am currently looking for a part time job for the summer around 25-30 hours a week, I am taking a summer course that ends in June, but my schedule is very flexible.
