Energetic, healthy, positive, creative and fun-loving. For the last few years I worked in reception/admin for a non-profit health organization. Prior to moving to Calgary from Nova Scotia (daughters convinced me) I took care of my mom for 7. 5 years. She had a couple major strokes which restricted her mobility. I also took care of another woman (for respite) who was dealing with alzheimer's. During this time I raise my two children while babysitting four other children. We always had a houseful of neighbour's children as well. Decorating cookies, neighbourhood- and-friends dog show, hatching a duckling in an incubator, hatching monarch butterflies from the lava stage, science fairs, arts and crafts to name a few of the fun things we did. Also had tea-parties for seniors in my home that the children participated in by dancing, drawing pictures, etc. to delight the ladies. I enjoy helping people. Love seniors and children. Treat all people with love and respect and love to bring them joy (make them laugh). Interests including reading, photography, and creative expression. Nature walks. Animals. Most of all helping ours see their value. I currently live on my own and am looking for full time position ~ 35 - 44 hours per week. Also will consider one-off jobs or emergency care. Please NOTE: My only health concern is an allergy to cigarette smoke - therefore, I cannot work around people who smoke.

Cared for every age group. Also home-schooled/tutor preteen with learning difficulties. Foster children with behavioral problems. Due to experience being prior to moving to Alberta - references may be limited but I should be able to get at least two.
