I am an energetic 23 year old who has experience in both working with children of all ages, as well as cleaning in several different environments. I have experience babysitting, as well as working as a nanny. I have worked with up to four children at a time.
I grew up in a large family on a farm with brothers and sisters, and I know how to have fun with kids. I am creative, friendly, and kind. I work well with all ages and am self-motivated and efficient in my work. I strive to do my best in all things and to work with integrity.
One of my hobbies is playing the piano. I have my grade 8 piano in The Royal Conservatory of Music and would be willing to teach if families are interested.
I have experience babysitting for all a wide age-range. I have been employed as a Direct Service Worker with Manitoba Family Services from July 2014 - October 2015, and therefore have experience providing care for and teaching children with different disabilities. I have been part of their Respite program as well as their Summer Gap program, which involves tutoring in a fun and creative way.
I have worked as a nanny for a family of four children. It was a very positive experience, allowing me to gain experience taking care of larger families.
As a teenager I worked several summers at camp, taking care of children of all ages, leading them in group activities, maintaining order, and making sure that they had a fun and safe week at camp.
I intend to be a kind caregiver for children and to be a good example for them in my conduct and speech. I will be attentive to all their needs, giving them the best care. I would take charge in a respectful and gentle way, following the family's house rules.
I am seeking a summer position either full time or part time starting as soon as possible as my husband and I will be moving to go back to school in the fall.
I have a high school diploma, as well as a one year certificate from Millar College of the Bible.
