I am 35 and have experience working as a nanny for 2 families over the past 3 years. I get along well with kids because I relate to them on their level and love to share the fun of playing games, going on walks and bike rides, and doing arts and crafts of all kinds. I am great at multitasking and am happy to take on other household tasks where needed. I am easy to be around and I get to know people and kids quickly, and I look forward to connecting to you.

Kids love me because I connect to them on their level and enjoy engaging directly in activities with them while showing a genuine interest in their lives and the stories that they have to tell. One of my best qualities as a nanny would be my ability to handle the emotional highs and lows that children experience regularly, while finding ways to support the creation of new ways of responding to emotionally charged situations. I love to encourage children to express themselves through art, music and movement and feel strongly that regular time outside in nature is important for their development and for creating a sense of calm in their lives. My first nanny position began in 2016 after leaving my ten year career painting environments for children's animation in Vancouver. With the first family I cared for 2 high energy young boys, age 4 and 7, until they were 6 and 9 and moved out of Province. The second family I worked with in 2017/18 was a family of 3 high energy boys ages 6mos, 3 years, and 7 years old. In both cases I bonded really quickly with the boys and we enjoyed all kinds of artistic and athletic activities together. I am great with routine and multi-tasking when it comes to cooking and cleaning, and can find ways of engaging the children in these activities if they are old enough and express some interest in being around to help out with little tasks. I enjoy having a full work load, and I am young (age 35) and have a lot of energy for all that needs to be taken care of in a busy household. I am happy to help out with yard work and other tasks around the household when needed.

I have a diploma in Animation, art and design through the art institute of Vancouver. I have taken continued studies at Emily Carr University.
