I am a mature married lady. I have raised one son who is a business owner is Cranbrook. I am a loving, responsible woman who believes in treating others as I care of my own family. I have been employed as a cashier in Cranbrook for three years. I have went to College and have a Cooks II diploma and was working on Human Service Worker as I am interesting in helping people. I am origninally from Ontario but my husband and I moved to Cranbrook to be closer to our son. In Ontario I retired from a communications business. I love animals. I have a good personality as when I go into nursing homes residences seem to beam and I have a fun way of talking to them. Children usually like to be around me as I play games. Instead of being strict, I like to encourage by humor and work with them until they understand and watch them as they achieve the task on their own. I do housekeeping for my son and his wife as I like to clean and organize.

I have one son and am proud to say he is a responsible adult who has worked hard to have his own business. He does not smoke or drink and I am often complimented on nice of a man he is. I have one who is my son's wife's child and slowly she is seeing my husband and myself as a grandparent. It takes time and I don't believe in rushing a child until they are ready to accept. I have worked out our church as a leader for ages between 6 and 12. I have also took my turn in daycare. I have never had a regular job at looking after children but my lifes experience with raising my own son and helping my friends and neighbours with theirs have given me 35 years of experience with children, young adult and teenagers. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I would like 20 per hours for short hours but if I am required for the day, it would be at less cost.

I graduated from High School and went to College and have my Cooks II diploma. I have on semester in Human Service Worker.
