My name is Sarah and have 10+ years experience with childcare (including children with special needs). I also trained and worked as a Registered Nurse for 6+ years with experience including, but not limited to, the Cardiovascular Care Unit at The Hospital for Sick Children, Maternal & Child Program at The Humber River Hospital, the Emergency Room at Mount Sinai Hospital. Working as a nanny, babysitter, caregiver, and nurse I have been fortunate to have gained much experience. More importantly I have learned the joys and love that come with being a caregiver. I have taken care of children of all ages, with the majority of my experience with newborns and infants. I have my Emergency First Aid, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (including Level C CPR). I have my drivers license (G class) with no demerit points, and have a clear criminal record and vulnerable police check. I still work with a family (on average every other Saturday night currently) - but I have been with them since their little boy was 3 months old (and now he is 5 years old. ) I can't believe how fast time goes. I have had the opportunity to be a part of their family in many different roles including: nanny, daycare pick up, events, house-sitting, some over-nights when mom and dad were are out of town, and now for the most part babysitting on the weekends as the little guy is in school full-time.
