Hello. My name is Emilie and I am new to Peterborough. I moved here with my spouse to care for a family member and I am hoping to obtain a position in childcare. I love the outdoors and most sports. I was a baker and a nanny in Toronto. I took care of two children ages 7 and 10 and we had weekly crafting, baking and swimming sessions which we all enjoyed very much. I have no issues with pets as I have three cats of my own. I have worked with children of all ages, and enjoy spending time with children as they are so imaginative and adventurous. I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment for children in my care. I am kind and gentle and also encourage creativity in young minds. I have worked with children for several years and in different settings. I worked as a tutor for Kumon Learning Centers ages 3-8. I taught ESL to children of all ages from all over the world in a summer program through the Peel District School Board. I volunteered to coach a girls school softball team two years in a row. My most recent position is nanny to two wonderfully imaginative and adventurous children ages 7 and 10 in Toronto.

Completed some courses at University of Toronto. Willing to obtain CPR and first aid training.
