Hello. I am currently attending the University of Alberta to become an elementary teacher. I have had lots of experience volunteering with grades 3-6 and love children. I have just finished my five-week practicum placement in a grade 1 classroom and absolutely loved it. I was taking care of 25 grade 1 students and teaching them the curriculum. Although I do not have any formal experience babysitting privately, I did independently run an after school program with the Kids. Now organization for 2 years, going on 3 next year. Additionally, I volunteered with Study Buddy and helped teach grade 3 students how to improve their reading skills. To provide child care in your home I would help kids with their homework, follow any food schedule you may have in place, and ensure that they are in bed on time. In any down time, I would do light cleaning and ensure that the house is given back to you in the state it was given to me. Additionally, after any school work is done I would allow the kids to watch tv (At your discretion), play with their toys, or play fun board games with them.

Currently at the U of A working on my Bachelors of Elementary Education. I will be starting my third year next year.
