Hi there. I am looking for additional work to supplement my regular part time position as a Residential Support Worker for adults with disabilities. I have my Bachelor of Social Work degree as well as Child and Youth Worker diploma. I have been working with young people with complex mental health needs in relation to behaviour modification and life skills building for over 5 years and find the work very rewarding. I have experience with parent child relationship training, grief and loss, as well as emergency/ crisis response and treatment. I aim to involve my clients in daily life skills such as household activities, meal planning, cooking, baking, cleaning, as well as recreational and leisure time such as sports, hiking, or simply lying on the beach. I do not yet have children of my own so my schedule is flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and even nights. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

I have been working with children for over 15 years, have attained college and university degrees and now work in a residential setting supporting adults. I have worked in Canada and Australia in youth residential settings, as well as child care programs, after school programs, summer camps, and regular child care positions.
