I would describe myself as quite easy-going to work with. I’m an optimist rather than a pessimist – but I’m also a realist and I cope well when the going gets tough; I’m very good at finding solutions to problems. Above all, I would say I’m a positive and enthusiastic person – and I relish a challenge. I am flexible in the sense I can adapt to any situation. I am someone who is mature, candid and who has integrity. I am someone who is consistently growing and who takes the time to continue learning even though it's not a direct requirement of the job. I take responsibility for my actions and when things go wrong I don't look to outside forces to blame, rather I am someone who looks at where I can improve upon the next time around. Pointing fingers solves nothing. I struggle slightly with speaking in public. I like everything clean, neat and well organized. I tend to be shy but when I feel comfortable with someone it is easy for me to break the ice. As a nanny, I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for the children in my care. In addition, I am in favor of a structured day as it gives children an opportunity to follow a schedule and to learn and understand discipline. I also believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and can thrive. I have good organizational and communication skills, which I believe are among the most important skills for a nanny. On the other hand, I would like to say that I have a background in psychology and back home I worked there for over 10 years in the organizational and clinical field. I live here with my husband, we do not have children but I love them and enjoy their company immensely. As a matter of fact, I helped my two twin sisters raised their children. All of them miss me a lot because they consider me as a second mom. I do like exercising every day and watch out what I eat to keep in good health. I do not like extreme sports, I like outdoor activities, watch movies and read a lot about spiritual growth.

As I said before on my brief description I think a structured day gives children an opportunity to follow a schedule and to learn and understand discipline. I believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and can thrive. I have good organizational and communication skills, which I believe are among the most important skills for a nanny. It is also important to treat them with love, care and make them feel worthy. I have the ability to care for each child individually, while paying close attention to the needs of the group. I completed a CPR and First Aid training. I believe such knowledge is important for a nanny and can be a life saver in case of an injury or accident.

I have got a certificate of applied counselling studies on line with the Kelowna College of Professional Counselling during 9 months. According to IQAS my title Psychology is comparable to a completion of a four-year Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Psychology.
