I am a university student studying history. I plan to be an elementary school teacher when I finish my degree. I love reading, and being ouside. I have been working with children for the last ten years, including volunteering with school age and preschool age children.

My name is Maddie, and I hope that I am what you are looking for in a childcare provider. I am a University student and English is my native language. I am from Vancouver island and I love being outdoors, whether it is in the backyard or a nearby park fresh air, especially in the summer, it is essential. Some of my go to activities include playing outside, reading books, and imaginitive play. Most of my childcare experience has been looking after nieces, nephews, and younger cousins and I have completed a babysitter's course. I have volunteered at school age and pre-school summer camps which included working with children with special needs. In the past I have worked with school age dance groups, and this past year I have spent time volunteering at a local Elementary school with grade one and grade two classrooms.

I have a high school diploma from British Columbia and am currently attending University. I am working towards a degree in History and when I complete that I am going to go to work for Bachelor of Education.
