My name is Avery and I am 21 years old and looking to begin my adult journey in hopes of getting a positive and fulfilling job. I love working with kids and that’s what I am most experienced and comfortable with. I grew up always surrounded by younger children. I myself have 5 younger siblings and had to stay at home and watch them since I was 12. Out of all the jobs I have had childcare is my favorite. I have a vehicle and I am also willing to take the kids out for fun activities or any appointments they might have. I enjoy implementing outdoor activities with the kids, such as walks to the park, playing in the snow or going to a spray park. I will ensure you household duties would be kept up with as well. I also do not mind pets I love animals and will spend time with them too. Cooking isnt an issue with me either I myself eat pretty healthy and would make sure the kids have healthy meals and snacks. Throughout the whole school year I provided child care for two young boys after school every Tuesday and Thursdays. Occasionally when the parents wanted to go out on a dateI would watch them on a weekend. One of the boys who was 7 had special needs and required a lot of patience and supervision. Last year I provided child care for 8 months for a single mother of three young boys. From Wednesday to Friday I would pick them up from school and take them home and watch them until 12 am. This included helping the boys with homework, taking them to the park or playing games with them, cooking dinner, cleaning up, bathing them, walking the dog and putting them to bed after reading them a story. The two eldest boys were twins and both had ADD and ADHD and required a lot of attention.
