I am a mature British nanny. I have my N. N. E. B. certificate which is similar to the E. C. E diploma. I came to Canada 26 years ago to work for a family who had 2 girls. They originally only wanted me for a year but asked me to stay longer and I did for 4 more years. Shortly after I decided to get my Canadian Citizenship. I have had 5 full time nanny jobs in Toronto all with wonderful families. I had taken some time off after those jobs to get married and start my own family before moving to Ajax. I stayed home with my 2 children and opened up my own home daycare which I did for 5 years before I decided to go back to being a nanny. My last nanny position was in Scarborough and I was there for 6 months looking after a 3 year old and 17 month old twins, all were boys. Prior to that position I was with a family for 6 years looking after 1 boy. I love to read, doing crosswords or any type of word puzzle. I also love to bake.

I have had 6 nanny positions, 5 of which were in Toronto. I have cared for children of all ages including twins. A couple of the jobs were with babies aged around a year with their mothers returning back to work after being on Maternity Leave. With all the nanny positions I was in sole charge of the children. Even travelling with one family to Berlin and Denmark. I would do everything relating to childcare which included taking them to school/programs/doctors appointments. Also taking care of their laundry/rooms etc.
