I am from a small island in the Caribbean called St. Vincent & the Grenadines. I migrated to Toronto Canada when I was 17 years old to look after my Uncle's son who was born 2 months before his due date. After 2 years I worked for a family with 2 kids a new born and a 12 month old for a year and a half before they moved to the United States. I spent the next 17 years with a family with whom I became part of, sort of like a big sister now and is currently babysitting for a family of 4 every Thursday night with whom I was the nanny for 41/2 years. I enjoy walking and running, love reading which I do a lot in fact, I got my charge who I had for over 10 years into reading (Harry Potter Books) now she tells me about any interesting new novels that are to my liking, which is any fantasy novels, history, mystery or Horror. I was working full-time as a law clerk/legal assistant before I went back to school in order to obtain my paralegal license, which I recently graduate from and is in the process of looking for jobs in my field. I am looking for occasional babysitting preferable evenings and weekends or as for right now if anyone need a temporary nanny for the daytime until I acquire a full time position.

I have over 20 years of relevant child care experience. Helped with children homework, potty training, teaching learning skills, doing crafts and games, encourage reading as I myself love to read. Helped with bath and bedtime, prepared dinner and took children to ballet classes or whatever after school activities they had. Also ran errands did children's laundry attended school assemblies and helped out in kindergarten classes.
