I am a mature, independent and hardworking individual and can work without any supervision. I am easy going and willing to learn new things. I finished my Health Care Assistant program in Pacific Coast Community College in Vancouver and successfully finished my practicums in different facilities. I did my internship with seniors that live in their respective homes. I am willing to work with seniors and childrens in the future. I am a teacher back home too, with all the knowledge combine I think I am equipped to carry out the job of a caregiver. h

I used to baby sit my friends kids when they were at work. I have a niece and nephews too who I baby sit whenever their parents are not available. I looked after them providing a safe environment all the time. Checking their personal needs like assisting them in feeding, toileting and changing diapers when needed. Stimulating their minds by teaching them with colors or alphabets and other. I am a teacher back home and my experience in dealing with students will help me to understand the children's behaviour and how shoukd I deal with them. I graduated as a Health Care Assistant. We studied how to take care of children from infants until they reach their senior years. We tackled how to deal with different age groups and their developmental stages. We also learned how to take care of children with special needs. Giving personal care, assisting with their activities of daily living, assisting with medications, transferring/ambulating, preparing meals and doing light housekeeping for them to provide a safe and comfortable environment for them. I do observations and report any changes or concerns to a nurse or supervisor in charge
