My partner and I recently moved to the Comox Valley and have been enjoying exploring our new surroundings. In my free time you can generally find me in the garden (although a green thumb doesn't quite come naturally) or we could be off hiking, kayaking or exploring a beach nearby. I have travelled enough to know this is where I want to call home.

Child care has always been a part of my life. I basically raised my younger sister and have close to a dozen nieces & nephews who are tons of fun and a very large part of my life. Most recently I was a nanny for a 1 yr old boy (5 mo. when I started) and an occasional babysitter for several families (ages ranging from 6 mo - 5 yrs). I believe consistency and kindness are important with kids of all ages. Also, getting outside for some fresh air (and play. ) is important. I look forward to speaking with you.
