I graduated from Capilano University, where I obtained my Bachelor of Business Administration. After working in an office environment for the past few years, I realized I need a change. I am a North Vancouver local who loves being outside and close to nature. I spent the past two years living in England with my common-law partner. I worked at a hospice during my time in the UK which made me realize that being proud of what I do for work largely influences my job satisfaction and overall happiness. Now that my partner has obtained his permanent residence we are back on the North Shore and love being close to family, friends and all of the natural beauty of this area.

I have been babysitting since the age of 12 and have always loved working with children. In 2017 I began working as a summer camp leader in my community while working during the school year as a youth services leader for children in grades 6 and 7. I have experience working with children with extra support needs including ADHD and ASD. I currently am working as a Child Care HR Administrator for a local child care center. While I love my position, I much prefer the time I get to spend working directly with children rather than being behind the computer, hence my desire for a career change.
