Hello Family,
My name is Jennifer, I am 23 years old, and I have 3 years of international Au-Pair experience.
I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. My father is in the military and my mother is a teacher. I have one younger brother who works as a cook at a lodge in BC.
I’ve always had a special love for younger children, and I started babysitting when I was 10 years old. When I was 13 years old I began to teach gymnastics, and did so for 6 years. I’ve coached all ages of children to adults, while at the same time training and competing competitively. I also taught Sunday school for 2 years at a Catholic church I was attending with my family. I went to Australia as an Au Pair for two years between 2012 and 2014, and I could have happily stayed much longer. I moved to Paris in 2016 for my second Au-Pair adventure, and spent ten months as the nanny to a 8 year old girl who loved to call me her "big sister" (she was an only child). In those three years I lived and worked with children between the ages of 13 months and 16 years. I’ve taken babies to swimming classes, 2 year olds to ballet and to the city for a day on the town (sometimes 3 at once. ). I’ve been the chauffeur and chaperone for a teenager’s dates, and so much more.
I am a confident swimmer, driver, and I am very outgoing. I love people and I always look for the best in any situation. I take initiative when I see something that needs to be done, I take pride in my work, and I am happy to help with whatever is needed around the house. I strive every day to be a better person, I love to laugh, I am flexible, honest and hard working, and I am very committed to keeping a positive outlook and mindset. I love animals, I love people, and I love all that life holds and has to offer. I am so blessed, very thankful and always happy to give back.
I am allergic to wheat, so I avoid foods like bread and pasta, unless they're gluten free. I love to eat healthy and stay active. I like to read, and I practice yoga regularly.
I am looking for a family of honest, open and caring individuals who are ready to welcome their nanny into not only their home, but into their family as well. I’m looking for a family who eats healthily and stays active (together. ), preferably one that enjoys spending time outside.
I would take joy in helping with homework, equally in character and mannerisms, as respect is a two way street.
I envision spending plenty of time with the children, not only playing, creating and exploring together, but at the same time learning, growing and bonding.
