My name is Zoe and I am a third-year Bachelor of Social Work student at Carleton University. I have over 9 years of experience working with children of all backgrounds, with 5 years of experience with the City of Ottawa, and 9 + years babysitting. My goal after graduation is to work with children, particularly with exceptionalities or special needs. Working with children is my passion, and truly brings so much light to my life. The innocence and pure happiness that radiate from children is what keeps me going every day.

Since the age of 12, I have gained an enormous amount of experience working with children, from newborn to ages 18. I have experience as a babysitter, dance teacher, Program Leader, Camp Counsellor, Program Coordinator and Camp Coordinator. All of these experiences have required me to perform first aid, program, organize and participate in crafts, games, and activities, handle any issue that may arise (bullying, mental health, injuries, conflicts, difficulties at home or school, etc. ), interact with parents, follow very strict policies, and always have a positive, energetic, friendly attitude.
