I am 23 years old and recently graduated with a degree in a Child and Youth Care Counselling. I am looking for a full time or part time position. I am an excellent caregiver as I am responsible, mature and I can provide a strong, positive relationship for your child(ren). I also work very well with special needs children. I enjoy outdoor activities and fun arts and crafts and just over all being involved in the world around us. However, I also enjoy some nice quiet time with a good book or a tv show so I am able to work with your child in both types of environments. I can also do your household chores, prepare meals, and I can pick up/drop off at school or activities as I have a valid drivers license.

As a university practicum, I was at The Third Academy which is a school for special needs children. I worked one on one with the children to help them complete their assignments and keep them motivated and self-confident. I also volunteer once a week at the public library in the Early Literacy program where I assist the children in learning to read and playing fun learning games. I finished my second practicum with McMan Services, going to different schools to teach life-skills programs from ages 7-18. I am now looking for a full time summer position and a 3 day a week position starting in September.

I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Child Studies degree, majoring in Child and Youth Care Counselling.
