I am a book-loving, pet-walking musician with over 15 years of experience with children. I have had a variety of childcare experiences, including being a “back-stage mom” to a children’s’ chorus to helping to look after my neighbour’s son from infancy. I have a Bachelors in music and two diplomas, one in digital arts (so I’m great with computers) and one in library sciences. Plus, I’m a great cook. I can help your kids with their homework, pack them nutritious meals, clean the house, and take them to the library. I know lots of age-appropriate games, books, and crafts, great for boys and girls. I swim, ice skate, have my driver’s license, and am CPR and First Aid qualified.

I was a babysitter when I was a teenager. I looked after children from age 6 months to age 10. About three years ago I was an assistant stage manager of a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, where I helped the child cast members to learn their music, and helped keeping them entertained when they were not needed in rehearsal. Their ages ranged from 7 to 13 so sometimes I would have to be creative in my game planing. During my deploma program for library technicians I took two separate courses in children's book recommendations. I loved learning about how different children's books taught different skills. My best friend started her family four years ago. I became a regular babysitter for her son between the ages of 3 months to almost three. I loved taking after him and playing with him. I moved to Petawawa in October 2016, and my new next door neighbour gave birth to her son two weeks later. I looked after him regularly (until January 2018) so that his mom could get things done around her home. I was employed as a full time nanny in Petawawa from May-November 2017 looking after two boys (ages 2 and 4) I regularly travel to Toronto to look after my niece Rose. (Rose is currently 19 months old) My husband and I have just moved to Medicine Hat.
