I enjoy riding my bike, baking and doing arts and crafts. I have an advanced diploma in Child and youth care with an Indigenous perspectives' designation from Fleming college. I have plenty of experience working with infants and children in various settings. I have babysat, worked as a camp counsellor, volunteered as a youth leader, completed two placements as a residential counsellor, and one placement as a support worker for families involved in the child welfare system. I have experience working with children with complex needs (autism, mental health concerns etc. ) I have also worked as a head Pre K teacher where I was responsible for the emotional and physical health of 15 kids ages 2.5-4 years old. I created play-based learning activities for them, while being an active role model. I have a passion for working with kids!

In high school I volunteered at the Whitby Free Methodist Church for 3 years as a youth leader. responsibilities were supervising and caring for children aged 2-15, making lunches, cleaning up, setting up and supervising age appropriate activities and more. Have experience with special needs children. I have also done two college placements at the John Howard Society residential program where I worked with at risk youth. Worked as a nanny for 3yr old with level one autism for three years on a part time basis. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: Emergency first aid and CPR certified level C, have my own car
