My name is Abbi and I have a passion for working with children. I am certified in first aid and CPR/C and have garnered a wealth of experience with children of all ages. I have taken a multitude of child care courses including family life, child development, and child care. Additionally, I've worked in three different daycares catering to age groups from infancy to pre-kindergarten. Furthermore, I have experience with children from 6 to 17 years old, having served as a camp counsellor for two years, and I also have younger siblings of my own. UPEI Campus Kids Daycare, Charlottetown, PE - Worked with babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers - Interacted with them during play time, and was involved in parts of their education/program Adventure Camp Challenge (CANSPEI), Associate Camp Counsellor - June-August -Set up/take down camp site, plan and carry out programming(5 days at a time), prepare campers for bed School courses; Child development, Family Life, and Child Care *In the course Child Care we had to plan a weeks worth of activities and programming for our Rural Raiders daycare and then preform them throughout the week with the children. *I have also spent 3 weeks at the Stratford Daycare, where I was there with a classmate to observe take notes and engage with the children.
