I come from a large family, my mother is the oldest of 5 children. I have helped care for my younger cousins (a total of 9 under the age of 8) from the time they were born. This has included entertaining them at my grandma's house when we are there for dinner, to being a live in nanny for my aunts during weeks of the summer. I also volunteered at a local summer camp to complete over 40 hours of community service. I am currently attending university to become a registered nurse and am interested in working in paediatrics. I have always been an active member in my school community. This includes being an elected member of my high school's student council for four years as well as a member of my school board's student senate for two years. I have also volunteered at numerous events at my university. I am certified in CPR and first aid. I enjoy yoga, knitting, walking my dog, and spending time with my friends and family.

I was a volunteer councillor at a local camp for two summers. I have cared for my younger cousins many times, this has included being a live in Nanny during the summer. I was responsible for entertaining, feeding, bathing, and following a nighttime routine, which included reading stories and tucking them it. I also accompanied my aunt up to her friend's cottage, as a mothers helper, where I helped watch the kids by the water, helped with mealtime as well as bedtime, and entertained them when it rained. I was also hired for a girl's 10th birthday party to do manicures and pedicures for all of her friends. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I have my G2 licence and am eligible to obtain my full G license, I have access to a car on a regular basis. I have lived in Whitby my whole life and know the area well. I love animals and kids.
