I am a positive, enthusiastic person who is also responsible. I love to go for walks and be outside, as well as do arts and crafts. My favourite thing about working with children is their innate curiosity and fresh outlook on life. I am currently working full-time as an English teacher in an elementary school. I am looking for a nanny or babysitting position over the summer, and also occasional evening or weekend work during the school year. I am looking for a childcare job over the summer, and occasionally during the school year. I am currently a full-time English teacher for grades 3-8. I work at a private school that prioritizes having children's emotional and educational needs met at every stage of their development. I also have worked at numerous day camps. At these camps I have organized and structured fun and educational activities. I was responsible for the children's health and safety at all times. My mom also has a home daycare. I often help her out and occasionally replace her, so I am comfortable with babies and toddlers as well. Last summer I worked as a nanny for a family with 4 children -- the youngest being 9-months-old and the oldest being 9-years-old. I am CPR and first aid certified, and have a valid driver's license although I do not have a car.
