Hi, I am Claire, I am 29 years old, mainly English speaking but with some French as well. I moved to Montreal from BC at the end of 2018. While in Victoria I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies. I did some travelling after school, and then spent the last two years working at an adult day program for individuals with disabilities. I also have some work experience with children with behavioural and cognitive struggles. I am currently working part-time for the CLSC in Montreal-Nord as a personal support worker for a young boy with developmental disabilities.

As mentioned before, I have six nieces and nephews who have provided me with 17 years of childcare experience. They range in age from 17 to 8 months and I have spent ample time with each of them to feel comfortable with different age groups. I also have previous experience working with families in need who have children with disabilities (usually mental health diagnoses but sometimes medical/physical needs as well). I have 5 months of experience with that specific type of work.
