Hello there. My name is Sammie and I am currently trying to become an elementary school teacher. I have worked with children since a very young age, especially coming from a family of four children. I have volunteered countless hours since I was old enough to think: at senior's homes, children and youth choirs, scouts clubs, summer camps, and children and youth ministries of Ontario. I would say that I am an extremely patient person, especially when it comes to children who might have communication difficulties, learning disabilities and language barriers. I tend to connect well with troubled children and teach them about unconditional love. I am able to teach piano, flute, tuba, bass guitar, double bass, and music theory if needed and also a long list of various sports. I love children and I believe that my passion is to shape young minds so that they may grow up to be courageous and kind.

Children/Youth choirs: I have been an assistant director and helped organize and teach songs. Scouts: I have been a scouts counsellor since 2009 up until presently and I teach honours that vary in subject and help plan camping trips. Children/Youth Ministries: in these ministries, I help with various event planning with ages 5-18 physically, mentally and spiritually. Summer camp: I have worked as a counsellor and now presently a director of Outdoor Adventure. I plan outdoor and survival classes, choreograph Zumba routines, teach about nature, archery, sports, physical fitness, etc.

I have recently graduated from the University of Ottawa in Honours in French Studies and a Minor in Spanish. I am currently trying to become an elementary school teacher.
