I am a mature woman with 5 grown children. I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, family and friends. I work part time as a pediatric dental assistant. I am a volunteer with the Red Cross for over 5 years as a First Aid/CPR Responder. I am also a volunteer for 15 years with Citizen Advocacy. I have done some personal support work with seniors with dementia, various disabilities and palliative care. I fostered newborn babies and children of all ages through the Children's Aid Society for 20 years. I have hosted students from foreign countries for 10 years through Canada Homestay International. I enjoy cooking, gardening, going to the gym, swimming, travelling, taking courses to improve my skills and church activities.
