Hi, my na me is Luciana, I am a graduated school teacher from Brazil, I have a bachelor degree in Modern Languages ( English/ Portuguese). I was admitted in 2003 but I have been teaching since 2004. I really like to travel and to know other cultures in languages. My first trip abroad was in The United States in 2006, where I could improve my language skills, although I work temporarily there through a university program. Then, I moved to Ireland to get international certificates and then I had this great opportunity to work as an au pair in Finalnd, taking care of two little girlies, at the ages of 2 and 4. The youngest one was disabled which required special assistance, including tube feeding, physical exercise at home and lot of fun playing games and going out. I finally moved to Germany to study German a little bit. I also worked at bilingual schools in Sao Paulo (Portuguese and English) working both as class assistant and head teacher ( at different schools) The age group were from 2 to 9. I also taught English at elementary and secondary school. I love getting to know new things, I am flexible, patient and easy to adapt. Looking toward to starting a new experience.

I have worked as an au pair, taking care of two children at the ages of 2 and 4. The youngest one was disabled which required special assistance but I basically took them to the day care and pick them up, prepared snacks or sometimes a meal and feed them. I also took them to parks cinemas and other fun places. Sometimes I worked late and put them to bed while the parents were away. I also worked at bilingual schools where children children were supposed to learn through immersion system and planned and guided activities. I worked both as class assistant, helping the teacher and as a teacher, which means I had to prepare all acitivities and being responsible form them. The age group were from 2 to 9. The activities were making and playing with play dough, activities to learn colors, family tree, recycling materials were used to make games such as memory games, pretend guitars and others Additional Experiences/Qualifications: Disciple positive course, based on the book Discipline positive.
