Self-description Hi my name is Julie, I use humor, story telling and lots of listening when looking after children. Supervision and making sure the child is safe all the time. Play dates are important to a child to increase their social skills and problem solving and I am fine with it. I take instructions from parents and may suggest what is appropriate for the child. I acknowledge and recognize the child's feeling and assure child that it is alright to be angry or sad.
Do not discuss with child/children private and confidential issues and things that does not concern the child.
Everyday is different day, I take pride in what I do with my work.
I work well without heavy supervision.
I continue learning by taking workshops, conferences about child care to keep me updated on what is new with child caring in the early years of a child.

Briefly describe your work experience
I take and follow instructions from the parents/guardian, decide what is safe and appropriate action for the child, drive child/children to activities, walk or take the public transportation.
Supervision and play dates are important to child, I am okay with it.
I prepare meals, do grocery shopping when required, laundry, light housecleaning. Encourage learning and social skills.
Help with homework when needed.
Overtime is alright with advance notice.
Evening babysitting is fine too.
