Childcare style I like to be an extension of the system that the parent already has in place. I am upfront with the kids as to what is appropriate and inappropriate behaviour. After the rules are established, I am consistent in maintaining the rules so that the children learn to respect them and myself.
Self-description I enjoy being a Nanny as it offers me the privilege of working with children one on one, which gives them the care and attention they need. Taking care of children is very rewarding; it is wonderful to influence their lives and to help them understand how special they are. Briefly describe your work experience
I have been working in child-care for 16 years for many different families. I have taken care of children of all ages. Currently I am a nanny for four children ranging from nine to three. I have been their nanny since January 2006. I read stories, play games, make crafts, and take the kids for walks and outings: I have a great deal of fun with the children as I help them learn and grow. I am a full time employee, working five days a week. My job ends in September when the littlest one goes to school.
