Childcare style I prefer to talk to the child rather than talk at them. There is no point in yelling at a little one if they don't even understand what they've done wrong. I've also found that learning through play works wonders and before you know it the child has learned their colours or numbers or alphabet without really even having to try.
Self-description I have a 7 year old son that I had when I was forty. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks but everything about my life changed when he was born and I learned it all from him. It's amazing how much patience and love and understanding you have inside that you weren't even aware of until some innocent little being depends on you. He has made me realize how important children are in my life and how important I can be to them.
