Hello, Bonjour I am a reliable, honest and caring person. I am positive and fun - you will find that I always have a smile on my face. I like to keep active and eat healthy foods. I am a smart young women; very inquisitive and a fast learner. Since I graduated high school I have au paired in Montreal, Paris and Vancouver, lived in Spain, traveled Western Europe, and explored Australia twice. I have recently studied acting in Vancouver and work in the film industry. I will be creative and fun with your children, making sure they are getting their share of exercise and doing stimulating activities on a day to day basis. We will play sports, take walks in the parks, do crafts, visit local museums etc., all depending, of course, on the age of the children and your location. I am not French but speak and write it quite well and can converse with the children in French or English, which ever is preferred. I have been an Au Pair three times and have been babysitting as long as I can remember. Each time has been such an enriching experience for me; and the families would agree: they enjoyed having me around as well. I am very accommodating and flexible when it comes to your needs. Because I have been a nanny many times already, I understand how important an honest relationship between the parents and the nanny truly is, so I would like to be open with one another when sharing our needs and concerns regarding the children - things always run much smoother that way :) I have experience with children from new born to teen and will be pleased to do household duties and driving. My schedule is flexible. Please don't hesitate to contact me and ask me any questions you wish. I can send you my resume and references letters as well. Till then, A bientot -Ashley

2013/14 - Montreal, QC Cared for 3 children, 1-5yrs on short term basis. Playing with the children outdoors, taking them to the nearby park and water park. Colouring and playing dolls with the girls, interacting and teaching the youngest while playing games that would involve learning. Preparing lunches and snacks for the children, cleaning the kitchen and making sure the house was tidy at the end of every day. Creating fun and new ways keeping the children engaged, 2010 - Kamloops, BC In 210: One day per week I cared for an infant of 5 months. The mother was home but needed a helping hand. I would change the baby's diapers, entertain him, take leisurely walks with him outside and rock him to sleep several times a day. When the child was asleep there was a list of chores to do around the house so while I had a free hand I would work at complet- ing those tasks. Winter 2011: Help the mother when needed. Ex. taking the boys to photos, watching the infant at gymnastics, baby sitting in the evening, including: bathing, reading stories and putting the 2 yr to bed. While the boys are asleep I do tasks around the house. 2010: Port Coquitlam, Canada For five weeks, I took on the role of “Replacement Au Pair” while the family searched for an international au pair. The three children were between the ages of six and ten. My duties included: prepping the kid's lunches, taking them to school each morning, tending to light household duties (laundry etc. ), caring for their dog during the day, collecting them from school and keeping them active afterwards, as well as making sure that that their homework was completed before dinner. I also helped with cooking, on occasion. 2007-2008: Paris, France Cared for two boys (eight years and twelve years) for ten months while attending French courses throughout the week. During the day the children were in school so I had to clean their rooms, iron the laundry and every Wednesday I cleaned the bathrooms. Once the kids arrived home we snacked and then played. Most of the time we made-up games on the trampoline, played board games or used our imaginations around the house. We discussed everything in French. Before their parents came home from work I helped them with their homework and they had their baths. Then we would dine as a family and I would clean the kitchen. 2006: Montreal, Quebec Spent the summer caring for three French children. The youngest, at age three, spent every day except Wednesday at play school, which left me with his older sister (8) and older brother (10). During the day we did crafts, swam in their pool, or played in the backyard. Often times I would take them to a nearby soccer field where the kids loved to play. It was my job to address the younger two in French and help the eldest son with English. I would also partially help prepare the meals and always clean the kitchen after dinner.
