I have worked in childcare for over 20 years. I like to plan age appropriate crafts and activiities for children. I also like to take children out to explore their neighbourhood and on bus trips if that meets with parents approval. I am interested in long term employment. I am punctural, reliable. I was raised in Calgary and am the eldest of 4 children. I enjoy reading, singing, the opera and word games. I was a member of the Italian choir for eight years I have references, a valid first aid and CPR certificate. I have a certificate in Disability and Community Support. I enjoy being involved in children's learning and discovery. I am looking for work beginning in February 2014

I have cared for children from 3.5 months old to as old as 9 years old. I have cared for twins and was with them for six years. In my experience, I have cared for a family of 3 school aged children, but have worked with children under 5 years old. I have worked as float staff in daycare giving me experience with a variety of ages. I have tried to provide care tthat encompasses social,physical,intellectual,cognitive and emotional learning. I have a current first aid certificate criminal record check.

I have taken some early Learning and Childcare course. I also hold a certificate in Disability and Community Support.
