My name is Amanda and I am a professional nanny/instructor with over thirty years experience in caring for children of all ages and abilities. I am currently looking for a part time position to compliment my long term position of nine years with my current family. I am a professional nanny with more than thirty years experience both as a nanny and instructor in recreational programs. I have cared for single children, twins, triplets and multi-home children. I have taught dance, gym sports, fitness programs, basic swim and skating introductory lessons, preschool programs, music programs, art programs and summer camps. I have experience with allergy, Downs Syndrome, physical and mental challenges and am certified in First Aid and CPR. I have a complete criminal check and have worked both as an employee and volunteer for varied children's programs throughout the city including the Special Olympics. I have also worked as a housekeeper / house manager. I have two and a half years worked in to a Bachelor Degree: English Major / Drama minor. My intent when I'd started was to pursue an After Degree in Education. The process was put on hold when I was offered my first teaching positions. I am not actively pursuing it at this point but it was always the intention to complete it if I was given the opportunity.
