Hi - I am Kelsey. I am the oldest of three kids, and have been looking after children from several families for over 10 years. I have a love and passion for working with kids, and I have plenty of related work and volunteer experience. I am currently in my final semester of my undergraduate degree, working towards my teaching degree. I am comfortable with children of all ages and am willing and happy to play games, go on outings, organize crafts, prepare nutritious snacks/meals, etc. I am currently in school Tuesday-Thursday afternoons/evenings. I am available Monday-Friday mornings, all day Monday, and all day Friday. Come early April I will be available all day Monday-Friday. I have my own car and a full drivers license. Besides having looked after my two younger brothers for years, I have worked for numerous other families, caring for up to four children at a time. This includes picking them up from school, preparing nutritious meals, organizing activities and small outings, bathing, reading and putting the children to bed, and light housekeeping. Additionally, I ran an entire summer of Preschool Camp (3-5 year-olds) at a Richmond community centre - I organized the entirety of the program, from weekly themes and daily crafts, to playground time and gym activities. Volunteer-wise, I have collectively worked 300 hours in grade 1 and grade 3 classrooms (and continue to do so at present). I often work one-on-one with children who need extra support.

Currently in my final semester of my undergraduate degree (BA - specialization in psychology, counselling, educational studies), working towards teaching degree.
