I am married and my husband and I have one child. I have been working with children for most of my life. Being the oldest of 6 I have often had the role of childcare provider. The first real experience I had was babysitting and then at 14, I ran a summer daycare for the neighbourhood children. Since then thats what I knew I wanted to do and have continue to do so through daycare, I have worked and by being a private contracted nanny. The age ranges I currently deal with are 2 months to 13 years, however I have worked with older I generally have between 1-4 children at a time. I have The majority of my early childhood education complete, the only part I am missing is the co-op which is where you go into a daycare. As I currently a stay at home mother due to the pandemic but hope to get back to work soon. I am currently located in Ontario but I am making the move to st johns this summer.
I always keep a tidy environment, which includes:
1) Laundry for the household (wash, dry, fold, put away)
2) Healthy meal plans (made a week in advance)
3) Meal prep
4) Daily log (of what your children have done that day)
5) (Light house cleaning)É everything will be put away from the day by end of day
6) Wide variety of activities are done through the day i. e. : arts and crafts, story books. Sight words, puzzles, games, name that color and match the common colored objectÉ
