I am a hard working lady who has been in this field for 24 years and I can say I love doing this. I love being with children and helping families. I moved to Canada in 1987 and I am a Canadian Citizen, I can speak English and Tagalog fluently. I am very motivated and positive with the children that I have and will take care of. I do drive and I am able to transport children to appointments and outings. With saying that I feel that you need to be mobile so you are "not always stuck in the house. " To be able to go places and appointments helps the families and children in their development. As I have said I have been a child care worker for 30 years and I enjoy doing this. To be a help to the families and children is very important to me. I am an older Filipino lady who is very dedicated to families, and some of my employers I have had for around 25 years. I enjoy working with children and families, I enjoy be able to be mobile, I enjoy all aspects of care. i. e care for children, daily house keeping, creating meals, and family activities. I also at times have cared for the elderly in certain situations, and again using what I have learned and trained for to be helpful in all aspects of the caring field. But the most important aspect I do have is being able to listen too and act on the parents direction towards their children.

I have been in the field for 30 years, and I have an employer for 20 years. I have taken children to school, appointments, outside activities, and parent directed outings. I have a degree in dentistry in the Philippines, but due to the laws and the time I came to Canada it is not recognized here, So I began to Nanny and I have enjoyed this work ever since.
