About Me

Hi! My Name is Michal. I'm 23 years old and finishing up my last undergraduate year at McGill, where I'm studying to become an elementary school teacher.

I have been babysitting for over 6 years, working at day camps, sleep away camps, schools and after-school programs. I love working with children in any context, and my favourite challenge is being able to get to know each child's unique personality, quirks, talents and interests so that I can maximize upon them in my role as caregiver/teacher/sitter/nanny/tutor (etc.) and to help build a dynamic, special and meaningful relationship with the tykes in my care.

I'm one of five kids in my family - the oldest, I'm engaged to be married (so excited!) and have an awesome cat named Adora.

My salary would be negotiable depending on what my duties would be, how many children I would have to take care of, etc. Please don't hesitate to call and ask. Also, I say that I am First Aid and CPR trained. That's true - I have been trained on at least 4 separate occasions over 5 years (at least 3 of them were Red Cross Certified). However despite having my old card, my certification is expired and I have not gotten it renewed since. Again, please let me know if this is an issue and if retaking the courses would be a necessary part of the application process.
