I am a 30 year old Filipina, looking for a Full time caregiver position for Childcare or elderly care. I have a son so I know how to handle kids and take care of them. I had more than 5 yrs experience working as a babysitter here in Canada. Helped them in all their everyday activities, and performed housekeeping as well. I am also responsible in building up their character; which in ways help them grow and enhance their personality. I am very passionate and child friendly. I am a Registered Nurse and Certified First Aider back in the Philippines which explains how I am able to be effective in terms of dealing with kids especially with regards to their health and how to deal in case of emergency. I also had Professional training in Caregiving which helped me learned safety practices, first aids and all care which includes care for elderly, people with special needs and Children. Responsibilities: -Organize and take part in activities for instance games, crafts, reading and outings to give enjoyment and exercise -Take kids to and from school and to doctor appointments -Watch over children and arrange reports for home care. -Discipline children in keeping with the methods requested by the parents -Plan, arrange and dish up meals for children and execute other housekeeping duties -Keep records of everyday activities and health information about every child -Oversee children’s activities, for instance meals and rest periods, as inculcate by employer -Instruct children in private hygiene and social development -Supervised children’s fun, making sure of their physical protection at all times - Performed plain first aid in emergencies -Helped children with every day routines for example toileting, dressing, eating and sleeping
