My name is Jaylyn. I am 25 years old. I am mature, caring and passionate about my job working with children and families. I currently live in Sarnia and have been a full time nanny for the last 6 years. I graduated from Lambton College in June 2012 as an Early Childhood Educator. I have 13 years of experience working with children. I started out babysitting when I was 11 years old and I have been doing it ever since. I have worked with newborns to kids aged 12. I also have experience working with multiples (twins & triplets). I had a part time Nanny position while I was in school for 2 little girls ages 12 months & 3 yrs. I have experience working in 2 daycares and have also worked in 3 kindergarten classrooms during school. I really have a passion for taking care of people and caring for children. I can't wait to gain more experience in this field of work and further my career in child care.

In 2004 at 12 years old, I started babysitting. I babysat for 4 families. One of the families I was responsible for getting their children off the bus after school and watching them for 2 hours until they got home from work. The other family I babysat for was Monday-Friday nights 7-9pm while the mother cleaned houses, the children were 10 months, 2 years &4 years old. The other 2 families I babysat for were just when they were going out and needed a babysitter. I still do babysitting jobs like this when people need me. In 2007 when I was 15 years old I baby triplet girls atleast twice a week so that the mother could go grocery shopping or just got out for a break. It was a HUGE responsibility as the girls were only 6 months old when I started the job. I babysat them for 4 years until they started school. In 2009 I had my first nanny job. It was for the summer and it was for a little girl who was 2 years old. In 2010 I started college in the Early Childhood Education program which I just graduated from in April. While in college I worked in 3 schools (kindergarten classrooms) and 2 daycares (infant, toddler & preschool rooms). When I graduated I started another nanny position for 2 little girls aged 1 year & 3 years old and that was until October 2012. In October 2012 I moved to Kitchener for my second Nanny position for a family with 2 little girls ages 1 year & 6 years. My responsibilities with them include, making breakfast, lunch & dinner for the whole family, get the 6 year old ready & to school, grocery shop, make everyones beds, clean the house on a daily basis, do the laundry, take the children to their doctors appointments and much more.

I graduated highschool and I graduated from the Early Childhood Education program at my local college.
